Amy Grimsby joined the LifewithArt team in September 2022 running workshops at our Charity Arts Centre in Emersons Green, Bristol. Arts and crafts have always played a part in Amy’s life; coming from an artistic family, she started off with A-Level Art and foundation arts. She worked as a pottery painter for 10 years before taking some time out to start a family. Having previously dabbled in many crafts, her passion is now needle felting. For around 8 years Amy has run regular workshops teaching people how to needle felt and has a successful business selling her own creations online.

It is so rewarding seeing something appear out of a ball of fluff becoming a beautiful animal or bird sculpture. Clients are so amazed at what they are able to achieve when some say they aren’t even creative. I absolutely love working at LifewithArt and look forward to every workshop. It’s so rewarding seeing the enjoyment the clients take from our workshops and the pride they have in their finished pieces of art. Amy Grimsby
