What a terrific first occupation in Euston Tower, Central London. The centre was open 5 days a week throughout March and April, allowing us to run a huge number of activities. The bright, open spaces of the 15th and 16th floors, made an ideal home for our photographic exhibitions featuring Riding for the Disabled Association, Myaware and our own LifewithArt display. Visitors from Camden Mind Walking Group, Myaware and other local residents popped in to see the exhibitions and enjoyed a nice cup of tea along with the panoramic views.
Alongside the photographic exhibitions, we ran an incredible array of arts workshops. Music, drama and art workshops were available 4 days a week and were attended by clients from Greenwood Centre and Centre 404 who support people with learning and physical disabilities and those with other additional needs. The feedback from the sessions was very positive and our thanks go out to the LifewithArt tutors who made sure every session was fun and every client left with a smile on their face!
Michela and Miranda have been absolutely brilliant with our group. My sister has really enjoyed this so much – she has produced some amazing work. We all hope to join these workshops again at some point.
