Nobody went home empty handed from the recent arts workshops in New Alderson House, Belshill. Clients from Stonehouse Lifestyles enjoyed the celebratory themed project which focused on bonfire night and Christmas. The project was divided into four creative activities. To get started each service user created 2 or more salt paintings inspired by the night sky on bonfire night. Using the colours in their salt paintings the clients then went on to paint glass jar lanterns. After that, they made Christmas themed decorations from lollipop sticks and Christmas wreaths created from hand drawn holly leaves decorated with bells, pine cones and ribbon.
I loved it! I liked making the Santa & reindeer decorations. I loved making the wreath- I put it on my flat front door!

I enjoyed the salt paintings. I put my decorations on the Christmas tree.
