2014 is here and LifewithArt is off to an amazing start with 6 new Charity Arts Centres to add to our portfolio. Workshops are already underway in Daresbury, Wolverhampton, Newcastle and Grimsby with things kicking off soon in Coventry and Nottingham. At the end of last year we were sorry to say goodbye to Vision@Seabraes in Dundee and Highwood Pavilions in Cribbs Causeway, Bristol but with the addition of the new buildings we now have 25 Charity Arts Centres spanning mainland UK. It’s great to finally have some buildings in the Midlands and new art tutors are already being hired to cover the area. It’s also nice to be back in Newcastle after an 18 month absence from the area. Pui Lee, LwA Co-ordinator for the North-East said “It’s such wonderful news that LifewithArt North-East is back in action again and I am delighted that we have a new building in Newcastle. I have contacted some of the groups we have worked with previously in Newcastle and they are really happy to be getting the opportunity to work with us again! We will also be working with some new groups, from further afield, so it is a very exciting time indeed.”
