Another year has flown by! LifewithArt has now been running for 14 years, working with local communities across the UK! In the last 12 months we have run some 400 workshops in 10 buildings from Aberdeen in Scotland down to London, helping so many people enjoy our Art Workshops, including painting, collage, pottery, music and drama. Literally something for everyone, making the most of each client’s potential. The comments we get back from participants are incredibly moving.
My thanks, as always, go out to all the tutors, gallery managers, operations team, Beth and Ria in Bristol who enable everything to run so smoothly and, of course, to all our clients who make our Charity so worthwhile.
In addition to supporting the Riding for the Disabled annual art competition, we have helped “Barney & Echo”, educational books to help children become more aware of the dangers if the internet, Abandoned Artists, who help people in communities displaced by war, and the British Motor Museum, providing support with their young artists competition; all great causes!
We revisited Orchard Vale near Wookey, where we funded the construction of a new Art Centre back in 2018 and I’m pleased to report that it is in constant use and enables them to help other clients in the area who are not residents at the home. It is so cheering to see that our grant has made such a difference to all concerned.
Our best wishes go out to all concerned with LifewithArt and we look forward to another successful year in 2025!
