LifewithArt is kicking off the New Year with a bang, launching 4 new Charity Arts Centres. London is seeing the bulk of the excitement with new buildings in Woolwich, Euston and Southwark. We are also pleased to be opening our first Cornish centre located in Wharfside Shopping Centre, Penzance. The addition of these new buildings, coupled with the fact that we are running more workshops nationwide, means we are rapidly growing our team. A warm welcome to our new Cornish arts tutors, Laura, Mel and Jo, and our Gallery Manager Catherine who will take charge of opening the exhibitions to the public.
It’s full steam ahead in our Woolwich Charity Arts Centre – Riverside House – which opened mid-January. Clients from Melba Lodge, Homleigh Residential Care Home and Greenwich Living Options are already enjoying drama, music and visual art workshops in the building. Workshop demand is very high and we hope to be able to accommodate local Mind and Mencap groups who have also expressed an interest in attending workshops. As always our photographic exhibitions are open for public viewing so don’t miss the opportunity to see them!
We look forward to our opening our new Charity Arts Centres in Southwark and Euston at the end of the month.
