The doors are now open to our brand new Charity Arts Centre in central Glasgow:
249 West George Street, Glasgow, G2 4QE.
Our very own LifewithArt exhibition is on display showcasing creative works produced by members of the public, with learning and physical disabilities, who have attended LwA workshops around the country. In addition you can see the moving and thought provoking photographic exhibitions from our Associated Charities:
Tuesday 9th June 10:00 – 3:30
Myaware Open Day & Volunteer Recruitment Day
Art workshops are already underway in the building and service users from Antonine Court Day Centre are enjoying learning about aboriginal art – where it originates from, why it was created and how it was used in aboriginal culture.
Using earth colours and applying paint to their canvases using different techniques the service users are encouraged to create their own story.
I liked learning about aboriginal art! Alan
