Sadly September saw the end to LifewithArt buildings Norfolk House, Bristol and Beasley Court, Uxbridge. Not to be deterred we went out and found ourselves 2 new buildings to carry on our great work in these areas.
Monarch Court, Emersons Green, Bristol
This lovely 2 storey building in east Bristol has been buzzing with activity since we took over the lease this summer. Four local community groups enjoyed the music and art workshops on offer on virtually a daily basis throughout August and September.
Myaware Benefits & Information Support Day. 10th September 2014, Monarch Court, Bristol
The Myaware benefits officer and the advisor from the south-west neuromuscular network were on-hand to provide advice and support for local Myasthenia Gravis sufferers. Help with benefit claims, benefit entitlements and help completing forms was all available on the day.
Capital House, Enfield, London
Workshops with 3 local care homes are already underway in Capitol House. Station Road Care Home and Roseneath Avenue Care Home provide accommodation and support for people with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour. Whilst Roland Care Home provide residential care and supported living for adults with mental health needs and drug and alcohol dependency. We’re sure all service users will benefit from and enjoy the workshops on offer.
